Control your car through the integrated compass of your S60 phone and defeat your opponent!
In "Car Challenge", the player navigates through a detailed 3D world and tries to defeat the opponent by using these 4 different weapon types:
Mine: It can be laid anywhere in the world and stays there until one of the cars collide with it.
Rocket: It moves straight towards the direction the car had at firing it, until it hits a car or another rocket. If it collides with a wall it is mirrored and still a danger for everyone!
Target Rocket: This special rocket pursues the opponent and is hard to get rid of. However, if it hits a wall it is destroyed, so try to face the opponent at firing because it can not rotate too fast.
Ghost Rider: This ultimate weapon makes your car invulnerable and faster for 8 seconds! This means all weapons colliding with you are destroyed. Try to drive into your opponent to decrease his lives by one – but this means the end of your Ghost Rider is reached. If both cars fired the Ghost Rider and collide with each other both loose their weapon.
To get these weapons one of the 4 boxes which are spread all over the world must be destroyed. Each of them contains a random weapon and reappears after 9 seconds. So get the weapons before the AI does!
Compass Control
The game can be controlled by the navigation keys or by the integrated compass sensor (if available on your mobile phone). To use the compass, start the application "Magic Wand Server" first and select "Options -> Start Server". Afterwards, the game can be started as usual and the compass is used automatically.
Vibration and sound support makes the application a real joy to play and it's very challenging to win against the clever AI. If you want to deactivate one of the features e.g. for training, use a Softkey to get the options for that. Additionally, a map can be activated, which helps locating the opponent and the existing weapons in the world.
